Notice to Bidders

The Town of Hempstead is seeking bids for two contracts: C#27-2026 for the maintenance, repair, supply, installation, and modification of electrical equipment throughout the Parks Department, and C#28-2026 for the abandonment of inactive wells. The contracts will be awarded to the bidder who submits the most favorable bid to the interests of the Town. Bidders must submit their bids on the bidding sheets furnished by the Division of Purchasing and must comply with all specifications, terms, and conditions stated therein. * The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid that is deemed most favorable to the interests of the Town. * Veterans have certain rights under Section 162 of The New York State Finance Law in connection with public contracts. * Local veteran-owned businesses may be eligible for preference under local law 62.5. * Certification as to the enterprise is required to be by the NYS Office of General Services or US Department of Veterans Affairs.
