Biohazard Waste Disposal

The County of San Mateo is seeking a vendor to provide medical/biohazardous waste disposal services and on-demand OSHA compliance materials, including training videos. The services would begin on July 1, 2026, and would last for a three-year term. The vendor is expected to provide a competitive quotation, including all associated fees. The County will evaluate the quotations based on cost, conformity to specifications, and product availability. • The vendor must provide medical/biohazardous waste disposal services, approximately one 40-gallon container every 28 days. • The vendor must provide on-demand OSHA compliance materials, including Bloodborne Pathogen, Fire Extinguisher, and Personal Protective Equipment training videos for approximately 40 individuals. • The vendor must include the price for an extra container if needed. • The vendor must be a qualified, responsible, and manufacturer/publisher authorized vendor.
