RTI Interior Repairs and Painting

The project involves the removal of existing wallpaper and installation of one coat of primer and two coats of paint for three buildings at the Hawaii Army National Guard, 298th Regiment Multi-functional, Regional Training Institute (RTI). The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform all work related to wallpaper removal, wall patching, cleaning, prepping, and painting. The project requires the contractor to remove approximately 9,855 sqft of existing wallpaper and paint approximately 24,385 sqft of interior walls. The contractor must also provide 10 gallons of spare paint and move furniture back into the rooms. Key responsibilities include: • Removing existing wallpaper and wood detailing on walls • Patching any drywall or concrete prior to painting • Protecting existing murals • Applying primer and paint according to manufacturer recommendations • Providing and posting "WET PAINT" signs • Disposing of construction debris and waste • Submitting as-built drawings and warranties.
