Description
The State of Louisiana, Office of State Procurement, is seeking bids for the supply of fiberglass grating. The grating should be molded green fiberglass with SGF polyester resin, have a grid shape of ¾" x ¾" on center for the top, and a structural grid of 1½" x 1½" on center for the height. The grating should also be UV resistant, fire retardant rated Class A per ASTM E-84, and have a maximum deflection of 0.2" under a uniform load of 100 pounds per square foot over a 30-inch span. The successful bidder will be required to deliver the grating to LDWF Pointe Aux Chenes WMA, 138 Dolphin St, Montegut, LA 70377.
• The grating should be bundled or spaced appropriately for safe unloading and delivered in a manner compatible with LDWF off-loading equipment.
• The delivery should be made from Monday through Thursday, between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, excluding holidays.
• The vendor must notify LDWF at least 2 weeks prior to delivery.
• The grating should be UV resistant and fire retardant rated Class A per ASTM E-84.
• The grating should have a maximum deflection of 0.2" under a uniform load of 100 pounds per square foot over a 30-inch span.
