Description
The Daviess County Fiscal Court is seeking a qualified contractor to replace the roof and exterior wall panels of the Sorgho Fire Department building in Owensboro, KY. The work includes complete removal of existing roof and wall assemblies, installation of new TPO‑coated roofing system with a 60‑mil membrane, replacement of exterior metal wall panels, associated flashing, gutters, downspouts, and related trim work. Optional bid items add a steel “hugger” standing‑seam roof system (Option 1) and removal of the building’s valance (Option 2). The contract is a lump‑sum, firm‑price agreement with a one‑year warranty and potential extensions.
• Replace roof: remove existing roof, install treated‑wood nailers, EPS filler, 3‑in. TPO‑coated plates, 60‑mil TPO membrane, metal drip edge, gutters, downspouts, and provide 20‑year material & labor warranty.
• Replace exterior wall panels: remove existing panels, reinstall or replace insulation, install new 26‑gauge metal panels, address window flashing, and remove masonry to 4 in. below grade.
• Mandatory pre‑bid meeting on‑site (Oct 21, 2026) and required submission of complete bid package by Oct 29, 2025. Optional options for enhanced roof system or valance removal are also included.
