Staten Island North Shore Workforce Fund

The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking proposals from nonprofit providers and academic institutions to receive funding from the Staten Island North Shore Workforce Fund. The objective is to award monetary support to scale current and future workforce programs serving young adults in the North Shore of Staten Island. * The program aims to provide flexible funding for capacity-building activities to enable local organizations to design and implement effective workforce programs that respond to the community’s needs. * NYCEDC plans to select multiple nonprofit providers and/or academic institutions based on factors such as experience and qualifications, program vision, feasibility, and outcomes. * An optional informational session was held on February 13, 2026. * Respondents may submit questions and request clarifications from NYCEDC, with answers to be posted by March 13, 2026. * Detailed submission guidelines and requirements are outlined in the RFP, available on the NYCEDC website.
