Description

The Navajo Nation Department of Fish and Wildlife seeks a contractor to provide up to 600 hours of professional wildlife photography and videography services, support field surveys, redesign its public‑outreach booth, develop and maintain a comprehensive photo/video archive, and produce five short films that highlight department projects. The contractor must supply own transportation, handle travel, editing, Navajo‑language translation, and deliver final production‑ready materials. Preference is given to firms listed on the Navajo Nation Business Regulatory Listing and those with prior experience with the department. • Provide photography/videography on big‑game aerial surveys, river‑based bighorn‑sheep surveys, capture operations, and other field projects. • Redesign/update public‑outreach booth and create a searchable archive of all media assets. • Produce five short films, including translation and integration of Navajo language, meeting professional production standards.

Budget estimate

$90,000 – $150,000

No explicit budget is disclosed; however, with up to 600 hours of specialized wildlife photography/videography, a typical professional rate ranges from $150‑$250 per hour. This suggests a total contract value roughly between $90,000 and $150,000, depending on rates, travel expenses, and additional translation/archiving work.
