Request for Proposals - Zoning, Subdivision, and General Ordinance Update

The City of Elk River is seeking a qualified consultant to perform a full-scale diagnostic and rewrite the city's Land Development Regulations. The expectation is to repeal and adopt a new Land Development chapter. Additionally, the city is seeking a review of the remaining ordinance for inconsistencies, conflicts, and outdated provisions. The key aspects of this job include: • Performing a full-scale diagnostic of the city's Land Development Regulations • Rewriting the city's Land Development Regulations • Reviewing the remaining ordinance for inconsistencies, conflicts, and outdated provisions • Repealing and adopting a new Land Development chapter The ideal candidate should have experience in land development regulations, ordinance review, and rewriting. They should also have excellent analytical and communication skills.
