Job Order Contract for Mechanical Construction Services

The County of Santa Cruz is seeking proposals from fully licensed, insured, bonded, and certified contractors to provide Job Order Contracting Services for mechanical construction. The contract term is one year, and the maximum contract value is $6,210,093. The contractor will be required to perform an ongoing series of individual projects at different locations and facilities under the jurisdiction of the County. The contractor will be paid the Job Order Price for completing the Detailed Scope of Work within the Job Order Completion Time. • The contract is an indefinite quantity construction contract. • The contractor will be required to bid seven adjustment factors to be applied to the unit prices. • The contractor will be required to provide a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond. • The contractor will be required to pay prevailing wages and comply with all applicable labor laws and regulations. • The contractor will be required to comply with the County's non-discrimination and equal employment opportunity policies. • The contractor will be required to maintain accurate payroll records and furnish them to the Labor Commissioner upon request.
