J041--J041--Notice of Intent to Sole Source Support for JCI Metasys Building Automation System (BAS)

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole-source contract with Johnson Controls, Inc. for the provision of on-site scheduled service of the existing JCI Metasys Building Automation System (BAS) server at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. The contract will be for a period of one year and will require the contractor to provide the necessary services to upgrade and maintain the existing Building and Energy Management Control System (BAS). The contractor must be an OEM authorized contractor, trained technician, and possess licenses and certification for equipment and services to meet all government requirements and objectives.
