Anti-Ice Units

The Missouri Department of Transportation, St. Louis District, is seeking bids from qualified companies to provide Certified Power 1750 Gallon Slip-In, Full Baffled Anti-Ice Units. The units must meet specific requirements, including being full baffled, having a poly tank, and being installed on a skid assembly with a protective coating. The units must also have a hydraulically driven hypro liquid pump, a vertically adjustable spray bar, and be compatible with Force American and Certified Power ground speed hydraulic control systems. The contract period will be 12 months from the Notice of Award. Key features and requirements of the anti-ice units include: • 1750 Gallon Full Baffled Slip-In Anti-Ice Unit Specifications • Tank is poly, unit to be installed on a skid assembly fabricated in mild steel and metal needs protective coating • Tailgate latch assembly is integral to the skid assembly • 3 lane spray capability with 48 gpm per lane • Hydraulically driven hypro liquid pump • Vertically adjustable spray bar, 1-1/2" stainless steel wet booms, center lane • (8) straight stream nozzles, 6 gpm, 40 psi nozzles, (4) side lane booms, 12 gpm nozzles each lane • (2) hold down ratchet strap assemblies • Unit must be shipped completely assembled to the skid assembly ready for MODOT staff to install into their dump body • Unit must include side mount guide wheels installed, Fold-Up Leg Kit Installed, and all warranties, owner's manuals, instructions with product.
