Mulch, Hardwood and Pine Needle

The North Carolina State University is seeking quotations for the supply of hardwood and pine needle mulch. The contract will be for a minimum order amount of $50 for any single order, and the university reserves the right to place orders as needed by fax or phone for delivery within 1-2 business days. The vendor must be able to deliver in tractor trailer loads and dump truck loads, and freight and all other charges must be included in the unit price. The university is exempt from sales and/or use taxes on qualifying purchases. Some key points to note include: • The contract will cover a 1-year time period with the option to renew for four additional 1-year periods. • Firm pricing is to be quoted for the first year. • Quantities to be ordered are unknown, and no quantities or dollar amounts are guaranteed. • The vendor agrees to provide commercial insurance in an amount equal to or exceeding university requirements. • The university reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids, and to accept any item in the bid.
