Pyrophoric Devices/Aerial Density Source, Infrared Countermeasure Decoys

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the manufacture, assembly, inspection, testing, packaging, and shipping of Pyrophoric Devices/Aerial Density Source, Infrared Countermeasure Decoys. The devices must provide protection against advanced air-to-air and surface-to-air infrared weapon systems and be compatible with the AN/ALE-47 Airborne Countermeasure Dispenser System. Respondents must demonstrate their ability to produce the devices, including their technical, manufacturing, and personnel capabilities. The government is seeking information on the company's capabilities, facilities, and experience in producing similar items. • The devices must be at a full-rate production or at least at a Technology Readiness Level 7 (TRL 7) or higher. • The devices must be in a 1x1x8, 1x2x8, and 36mm form factor. • Respondents must have certification to receive/send export-controlled technical data and a facility clearance to handle classified material. • The government is considering a small business set-aside (SBSA) or full and open competition for the procurement.
