Description
NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center requires a Fourier‑Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectrometer to analyze and monitor the chemical composition of advanced monopropellant materials over time. The agency intends to award a sole‑source contract to Anton Paar USA, but is soliciting capability statements from interested vendors to assess whether a competitive procurement is viable. The instrument must be capable of scanning liquid, solid, and gas samples without secondary software, feature an integrated touchscreen, and have ASCENT‑compatible wetted surfaces. Delivery is required within eight weeks of order receipt, with anticipated start of testing in late summer/early fall 2026 at the MSFC facility in Alabama.
