Description
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is seeking bids for the procurement of breeding bulls. The bulls must be virgin, purebred, and born between September 1, 2023, and December 31, 2024. They must also be individually identified with a minimum of an individual herd identification number and be registered with the relevant breed association. The successful bidder will be responsible for delivering the bulls to the TDCJ Ferguson Unit and for paying all necessary registration transfer fees.
• The bulls must meet specific testing requirements, including a negative brucellosis test and a breeding soundness examination.
• The bulls must be delivered at the seller's expense.
