Description
The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking a contractor to install ADA doors and automatic door openers at the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park Visitor Center Restrooms. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supplies, materials, equipment, and travel necessary to complete the project. The project includes installing two new ADA automatic door operation devices, testing the devices, and providing training to park personnel. The contractor must also provide a 3-year warranty for the work.
• The project requires the contractor to stage and protect the site, personnel, and building, and to provide port-a-potties for the duration of the project.
• The contractor must perform a field inspection of the work area to verify existing conditions and quantities of work.
• The contractor must provide submittals, shop drawings, samples, and safety plans.
• The contractor must test and inspect each swinging automatic entrance door to determine compliance with applicable ANSI standards.
