Description
The VA is conducting market research to identify qualified firms capable of providing full‑cycle signage services for the Kansas City VA Medical Center campus. The effort includes planning, audit, programming, design development, fabrication, installation, de‑installation, and potential option years to complete phased work. All signage must meet stringent VA branding, ADA accessibility, hospital‑grade durability, and safety code requirements (NFPA, OSHA, IBC, JCAHO, ABAAS).
• Manufacture and install interior and exterior wayfinding, identification, super‑graphics, and life‑safety signs.
• Ensure compliance with VA Technical Information Library (TIL) Signage Guidelines, ADA, NFPA Life Safety, and infection‑control standards.
• Provide design services aligned with VA graphic style, including typography, color, and symbol usage.
• Offer phased planning and execution, with potential option years for continued updates across the campus.
