Description
The City of Tacoma is seeking a qualified manufacturer or authorized representative to supply single‑phase pad‑mounted distribution transformers (both mineral‑oil and natural‑ester filled) for its power distribution network. The contract will be a three‑year supplies agreement with two optional one‑year extensions, and the City may award to one or multiple vendors. Vendors must meet extensive technical specifications, demonstrate at least ten years of experience with U.S. utilities, and provide FOB Destination pricing with freight prepaid.
• Supply of a range of kVA ratings (25, 50, 100, 167 kVA) in multiple voltage configurations.
• Must meet or exceed DOE 10 CFR Part 431 efficiency standards and ISO‑based quality‑assurance programs.
• Pricing is unit‑price based; total estimated spend is about $2 million over the contract term, with payment upon satisfactory receipt.
