The City of Alexandria’s Water Department is seeking domestic manufacturers or distributors to supply fire hydrants (5.25 in. diameter, break‑away, three‑nozzle units) and a full line of related accessories—including extensions, anchor couplings, flusher adapters, and various brass fittings. Items will be stocked in the central warehouse and issued on an as‑needed basis, with all freight prepaid and delivered F.O.B. Destination. Pricing must be firm for six months, and bids are evaluated on a per‑item basis. The contract runs for twelve months, with payment within thirty days of proper delivery.
