MEADOW CREST PUMP STATION 2026 REHABILITATION

The City of Cedar Hill is seeking qualified contractors to fully rehabilitate the Meadow Crest Pump Station. The contract requires furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to replace a gas detector, install and replace multiple gate valves (four 12″ and two 18″), rehabilitate an automatic transfer switch, replace a vertical turbine pump and its motor, replace electrical disconnect equipment, and relocate disconnect panels. Work must comply with NCTCOG specifications and city addenda, include performance and payment bonds, and be completed within the stipulated contract time. • Scope includes valve replacement, pump and motor overhaul, switch rehabilitation, and electrical equipment upgrades. • Required deliverables: two hard‑copy bids + one digital PDF on USB, bid bond or 5 % cash guarantee, performance/payment bonds (100 % of contract price). • Pre‑bid teleconference (Sept 8, 2026) and optional site walk‑through (Sept 9, 2026). • Questions due Sept 11, 2026; bid submission deadline Sept 22, 2026. • Contract time: up to 270 working days from limited notice to proceed (or 90 days from full notice). • Warranty: 24 months after final acceptance.
