Description
The City of Peachtree City is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional services for the design of a new multi-use path bridge over Highway 54 W, Walt Banks Road, and Carriage Lane intersection area. The project aims to provide a safe and practical way for citizens to cross Highway 54, enhancing connectivity to nearby schools, residential neighborhoods, and commercial districts. The selected firm will be responsible for designing the bridge, multi-use path extension, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• The project includes surveying, geotechnical investigations, ecological evaluations, and stormwater drainage design.
• The selected firm must demonstrate experience with multi-use trails and bridges, ADA compliance, and federal grant requirements.
• The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities in a proposal.
• The evaluation process will involve a panel review of proposals based on weighted criteria, including project understanding and approach, qualifications and relevant experience, in-house capabilities, cost, references, and proposal package completeness.
