The Alaska Department of Natural Resources has received a Multi-Agency Application for Permits to Mine in Alaska (APMA) for Hardrock Exploration in the Kaiyuh Mining District, near the communities of Kaltag, Nulat, and Galena. The applicant, Alaska Silver USA Corporation, is proposing to conduct a continuing Hardrock Exploration trenching and drilling program located on Alaska Silver's state mining claims at the Round Top Project. The proposed dates of use are from the date of authorization issuance to December 31, 2035. The public is invited to comment on this activity, and written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Fairbanks Mine Permitting Office on or before 5:00 PM on Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026.
