2026 Summit DMA Orphan Well P&A

The State of Montana’s Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) is seeking proposals to plug and surface‑restore thirty‑five orphaned oil‑ and gas‑well sites and one associated evaporation pit in Big Horn County. The work includes full wellbore plugging using CBM plug instructions, cement and bentonite plugs, removal of equipment, pit reclamation, and ecological restoration of disturbed surfaces.
