The City of Thornton is seeking a single, fully‑built police armored tactical vehicle for its SWAT team, complete with a cab‑and‑chassis, NIJ IV+ ballistic protection, integrated SWAT‑specific equipment, and a long‑term parts‑supply commitment. The vendor must provide firm‑fixed pricing, meet extensive technical standards, deliver the vehicle FOB destination to the city’s fleet facility, and honor a multi‑year warranty and service support arrangement through June 30 2038.
• Deliver one complete armored tactical vehicle (Ford Super Duty‑based or approved equal) meeting NIJ IV+ protection against high‑caliber rifle fire.
• Include a full suite of SWAT equipment: hydraulic breaching ram, winch, 360° camera system, PA system, lighting, and climate‑controlled personnel carrier for ≥ 8 occupants.
