Cimarron Elementary School Replacement

The Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals for the Cimarron Elementary School Replacement project. The scope of work includes demolition, detention, drainage, masonry, concrete, steel framing, roofing/waterproofing, doors and frames, flooring, food service equipment, elevator, painting, fire alarm, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the GPISD Administration Building on October 31, 2025. Proposals are due on November 18, 2025, and must be delivered to the Facilities Planning and Construction Department in a sealed envelope. The district reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and negotiate with proposers after submission. • The project involves the replacement of an elementary school, which includes various construction and renovation tasks. • A pre-proposal conference is scheduled to provide more information and answer questions from potential bidders. • The proposal documents will be available on the district's website and eBid system. • The district requires a Proposal Security in the amount of 10% of the proposal amount. • The project is expected to involve multiple trades and disciplines, including construction, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
