Repair, Rewind, and Machine Work for Vertical, Horizontal, Submersible Motors and Pumps, On-Call

The County of Hernando is seeking a vendor to provide repair, rewind, and machine work for vertical, horizontal, submersible motors, and pumps on an on-call basis. The vendor must have a minimum of five years' experience in motor and pump repair and a full in-house machine shop. No subcontracting is allowed. The contract period will be for three years with the option for two additional one-year periods. The vendor must provide a list of equipment and facilities, as well as a list of personnel who will perform the work. The County reserves the right to conduct a site visit to verify the listed equipment and facility location. Some key points to consider: • The vendor must be registered to do business in the State of Florida. • All subcontractors performing work requiring a specialty license must be licensed in the State of Florida. • The vendor must provide a minimum of three references with firsthand knowledge of the proposer's performance on similar projects. • The vendor must submit a complete list of all equipment used for repairing motors and pumps and provide the location of their facility. • The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities related thereto.
