Description
The Department of Coroner is seeking qualified Neuropathologists to provide as-needed neuropathology services. The services may include gross brain examination and gross and micro brain examination. Prospective Contractors must meet minimum qualifications such as having United States citizenship or permanent resident status, a valid California Physicians and Surgeons license, and certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology.
• Must have United States citizenship or permanent resident status
• Must have a valid California Physicians and Surgeons license
• Must be certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology
• Desirable qualifications: a minimum of 2 years prior experience providing consultations to a Medical Examiner/Coroner Office or as a qualified expert witness in neuropathology in California civil or criminal court
