Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate and award a sole-source contract to the University of Hawaii Currents Group for University of Hawaii Data Acquisition Systems (UHDAS) support services. The required services include operational support, software maintenance, installation and configuration services, system monitoring, troubleshooting, training, technical consultation, operating system upgrades, software updates, and support for NOAA data management and archival workflows.
* The contract will be for a one-year base period with four one-year option periods.
* The University of Hawaii Currents Group is the developer, maintainer, and sole provider of UHDAS.
* UHDAS is a specialized system used for the acquisition, processing, monitoring, quality assurance, and archival preparation of shipboard Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data.
* The contract will support existing UHDAS installations aboard NOAA vessels and installation and calibration activities on newly delivered vessels entering service.
