Novel Technologies to Support Science Data System

The NASA/George C. Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) is seeking to extend the contract period of performance for 3 months, with an additional 1-month option period, to acquire services from New Rights Group, Inc. (doing business as Development Seed) under the existing contract 80MSFC22CA004. The contract will involve the development of a new novel data format to improve the accessibility of Earth observation data in the cloud, as well as the provision of support to enhance the existing Commercial Smallsat Data Acquisition (CSDA) data system infrastructure. • The development will prototype open-source software that enables efficient analysis and visualization of legacy data formats from NASA's Earth science data archive. • The contract will also involve the development of new systems to communicate with program management for review and tracking, interfaces with vendors for data tasking, and integration with the existing data system for data delivery and distribution to end users. • The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. • Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Brent Evans at [email protected] not later than 2:00pm Central Standard Time on January 28, 2026.
