Description
The County is seeking qualified contractors to construct a 36‑foot timber pedestrian bridge over Straight Creek, located near Dillon, CO, and to perform associated site work, erosion control, and wetland mitigation. The bridge will be a 4‑foot‑wide wooden structure installed on county‑provided footings, with surrounding grading, boulder walls, riprap, and a comprehensive environmental restoration package. Bidders must submit an electronic bid with a 5 % bond and may attend an optional pre‑bid site visit.
• Construct a 36‑ft timber pedestrian bridge (install‑only; materials supplied by the County).
• Perform earthwork, concrete footings, boulder‑wall installation, and riprap placement per the 100 % design drawings.
• Implement wetland mitigation (≈ 0.044 acre) including seeding, willow staking, erosion‑control blankets, and post‑construction monitoring for five years.
• Provide all required permits, water‑control/de‑watering plans, and comply with County, state, and federal environmental regulations.
• Submit bids electronically by August 13, 2026 2:00 PM and include a 5 % bid bond.
