Description
The State of Alabama is seeking a qualified contractor to provide labor, materials, and equipment for renovating the admin building’s corridor flooring. The scope includes demolition of existing carpet, preparation of the substrate, and installation of new 3 mm Interface LVT flooring (color: Elm), along with necessary site containment and cleanup. The contractor must be a licensed general contractor, carry workers’ compensation and general liability insurance, and be located within 30 miles of the project site. Bids must be submitted electronically by the deadline, and a walk‑through must be scheduled with the provided contact.
• Remove and dispose of existing carpet in all corridors.
• Prepare, patch, and skim the floor substrate for new LVT installation.
• Supply and install 3 mm Interface LVT flooring (Elm color).
• Provide dumpster, temporary containment (plastic protection, sticky mats), and post‑project cleanup.
• Meet licensing, insurance, and proximity requirements; submit supporting documentation with the quote.
