Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) is seeking a qualified vendor to fabricate and deliver a proof‑of‑concept “Neptune” Cask Interface Assembly. The work includes design‑modification, manufacturing of all machined parts per supplied drawings, construction of a test stand, compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards, and delivery of the assembled system to ORNL by 31 July 2027. The contract is firm‑fixed‑price and will be awarded on a lowest‑price‑technically‑acceptable basis.
• Fabricate all components shown on drawing MMHC1CAVE20‑ASSY to exact specifications.
• Provide a simple test stand meeting a specific height requirement (37‑1/8 in).
• Submit quality plan, personnel qualifications, and schedule; meet ISO 9001 compliance.
• Deliver completed assembly on‑site, with full documentation, warranties, and a 12‑month warranty period.
