Description
The United States Coast Guard is seeking quotations from qualified vendors to furnish and deliver one prefabricated chemical/hazardous material storage building to the U.S. Coast Guard Base New Orleans ATON Buoy Yard. The building shall meet or exceed specific specifications, including a 8’3” H x 14’ W x 8’ D size, double doors, sump containment, explosion relief panels, fire-rated walls and roof, and an electrical load center. The contractor shall provide a one-year warranty for all materials.
Some key points to consider:
• The building shall be delivered to the jobsite in its original unopened packages, clearly marked with the manufacturer’s name, brand name, and description of contents.
• Storage shall be in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area.
• The contractor shall schedule delivery to minimize interference with the facility’s normal operations.
• The contractor shall provide all required submittals to the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer’s Representative within 14 calendar days after contract award.
