Description
The State of Maryland is seeking a contractor to provide soil testing services for the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration. The contractor will be required to provide sample collection bags and pre-paid delivery arrangements to the Office of Materials Technology. The contract will be for a period of two years, and the contractor will be expected to report test results within 10 business days of receiving samples. The scope of work includes soil composition analysis and nutrient analysis.
• The contractor must comply with the Maryland Department of Transportation Standard Specification for Construction and Materials and the special provisions included in this Invitation for Bids.
• The contractor must provide sample collection bags and pre-paid delivery arrangements to the Office of Materials Technology.
• The contractor must report test results within 10 business days of receiving samples.
• The contractor must comply with all federal, State, and local laws applicable to its activities and obligations under the Contract.
