Fuel Tank Testing, Inspecting, and Maintenance Services

The County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified companies to provide fuel tank testing, inspecting, and maintenance services. The selected vendors will enter into Master Agreements with the County, which will consolidate all testing, inspecting, repairing, and maintenance of underground storage tanks (UST) and above ground storage tanks (AST). The vendors will be responsible for testing Department-owned UST and AST for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The County may add additional UST/AST or service categories at a later date. The minimum qualifications for vendors include having five years of experience in providing testing, inspecting, certifying, repairing, and maintenance of UST and AST, as well as upgrading and responding to government requests. • The vendor must have appropriate regulatory agency licenses in good standing. • The vendor's Project Manager must have a minimum of five years of experience planning and supervising as-needed services. • The vendor must provide descriptions of previous work examples with references. • The vendor must comply with the County's Child Support Compliance Program and consider hiring GAIN/GROW participants. • The vendor must certify its intent to comply with the County's Jury Service Program. • The vendor must declare its intent to comply with the terms and conditions of the Master Agreement. • The vendor must provide proof of insurability.
