Underground Utility Locating

The Wake County Public School System is seeking to secure a contract to provide Underground Utility Locating at various WCPSS facilities. The contract will be for a period of one year, starting July 1, 2026, and ending July 31, 2027. The contractor will be required to provide utility location services for all utility services, including electric, gas, water, sewer, and telephone utilities. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience in Subsurface Utility Engineering and knowledge of all trades' installation practices. • The contractor must provide a list of company-owned equipment used to perform the service. • The contractor must have ground penetrating radar and electromagnetic location devices. • The contractor must be able to provide documentation showing the cost of materials per request. • The contractor's net profit on subcontractors' rates shall be no greater than cost plus 5%. • The contractor's net profit on materials overhead and profit shall be cost plus 10%.
