On-Call Engineering Services for the Flood Control District

The Coconino County Flood Control District is seeking Statements of Qualifications for Engineering Services to support a full range of potentially needed engineering services within Coconino County. The selected firm will provide on-call engineering services, including flood mitigation measures, watershed restoration, and post-wildfire flood mitigation modeling. The contract is expected to last for five years, with an initial term of one year and four renewal periods. The firm will be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and coordination of all services provided. • The scope of work includes a wide range of flood mitigation measures, such as watershed restoration, detention basins, retention basins, and storm drain systems. • The firm should have experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, geotechnical engineering, and structural engineering for flood retarding structures, dams, and levees. • The firm should be familiar with federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to environmental compliance, NEPA, and FEMA. • The firm should have experience working with community members and property owners in post-wildfire impacted areas.
