Description
The Utica Community Schools is seeking bids for the asbestos abatement project at Havel Elementary School. The project includes the removal and disposal of all asbestos floor tile, non-asbestos floor tile mastic, non-asbestos carpet, interior door/window frame with asbestos glazing, asbestos lab counter tops, public address system with asbestos interior coating, sinks with asbestos undercoating, asbestos wall joint caulk, tagged fire doors and tagged fire door frames materials. The project is expected to be completed in June and July 2026, prior to building renovation activities.
• The project involves asbestos abatement and removal of hazardous materials.
• The bidder must provide a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship with the school district.
• The bidder must also provide a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance – Iran Economic Sanctions Act.
• The bidding documents are available from Arch Environmental Group.
• The district reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part or to waive any informalities or irregularities that may be in the best interest of the School District.
