Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) Solid Waste Management Services

The U.S. Government is seeking sources for solid waste management services at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) in Virginia. The services include managing municipal solid waste, construction and demolition debris, and single stream recycling. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items as well as non-personal services to manage ANC generated waste. The contractor will also be required to provide monthly waste reports and submit an invoice each month for payment of monthly transactions. The Government is looking for small businesses, particularly those in the 8(a) business development program, to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Some key points to consider: • The contractor will be responsible for managing all waste generated by the work performed under this contract in accordance with applicable Federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide an equipped facility ready to accept delivery of waste. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring safe work and otherwise safe actions, behavior, and conduct inside ANC. • The contractor will be required to submit their injury and illness rate information for similar work conducted in the past year. • The contractor will be required to provide evidence that their Safety and Occupational Health Plan adheres to that of Arlington National Cemetery.
