Description
The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a prequalified maintenance contractor to perform full depth bridge deck repairs on the M-39 ramp to eastbound I-96 in Wayne County. The project consists of approximately 20 individual patches of various sizes and will be performed under a total ramp closure. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the work. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest price.
• The project requires the contractor to patch areas displaying spall to steel on the bottom side of the deck.
• The contractor must provide traffic control and maintain traffic during the project.
• The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• The contractor must pay prevailing wages to all mechanics and laborers employed on the project.
• The contractor must provide a performance bond and a lien bond, each for not less than 100% of the total contract price.
