MEV-MHE BATTERY REPLACEMENT

The US Navy is seeking to procure DEKA 36V and 72V Sealed Valve Regulated Lead-Acid (SVRLA)/GEL Maintenance-Free Batteries to replace end-of-life batteries on fork trucks in support of the USNS MEDGAR EVERS (T-AKE 13). The batteries are required for the HYSTER and HUBTEX forklift model types associated with T-AKE Class vessels. The required batteries are the EAST PENN Manufacturing CO./ DEKA Corporation - 36V Sealed Valve Regulated Lead-Acid (SVRLA)/GEL Maintenance-Free Industrial Battery, including tray, which is the only Shipboard-Approved EE-rated battery asset accepted that meets all required NAVSEA/NAVSUP specification. * The required batteries are DEKA 36V and 72V Sealed Valve Regulated Lead-Acid (SVRLA)/GEL Maintenance-Free Industrial Batteries. * The batteries are for use in HYSTER and HUBTEX forklift model types associated with T-AKE Class vessels. * The required delivery date is 26 Nov 2026. * The estimated production lead time is 42 weeks after contract award.
