Description
The Thomas County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for a new wheel loader. The wheel loader shall be a currently advertised standard production model, completely and properly serviced, and ready for immediate use upon receipt. The minimum specifications for the wheel loader include a diesel engine, 168 horsepower, 27,000 lbs operating weight, and a 2.75 CY bucket with replaceable cutting edge. The bid package must include the name of the business, mailing address, and the name, title, and signature of the person submitting the bid. The bidder may be required to prove their experience and qualifications to perform the contract.
• The wheel loader shall meet all current emission standards
• The wheel loader shall have an enclosed cab with heat and air conditioning
• The wheel loader shall have a radio with Bluetooth and working lights
• The wheel loader shall have a strobe light on top of the cab and a slow-moving vehicle emblem
• The wheel loader shall have an auxiliary hydraulic flow at the bucket for a grapple option
• The wheel loader shall have a machine cab display with preventive maintenance reminders based on hours of operation
