Fordham Boulevard (US 15‑501) Sidepath

The Town of Chapel Hill is soliciting bids to construct and upgrade a new 10‑ft sidepath along Fordham Boulevard (US 15‑501). The work covers roughly 3,500 linear feet, including clearing, grading, concrete paving, drainage, erosion control, curb and gutter, signage, striping, and streambank stabilization, all to be performed in accordance with the 2024 NC DOT Standard Specifications. • New sidepath construction – approx. 1,800 ft from Ridgefield Road to Willow Drive. • Upgrade of existing sidepath – approx. 1,700 ft from Cleland Drive to Ridgefield Road. • Required pre‑qualification with NCDOT; 5 % bid bond; submission by June 2 2026, with an optional pre‑bid meeting on May 19 2026.
