The project involves the design‑build construction of a new entrance road for the Gadsden Campus of New Mexico State University, including associated civil works, utility installations, drainage, lighting, fencing, and site security features. The contractor must deliver a complete roadway, associated structures, and related infrastructure in accordance with NMDOT standard specifications and university requirements.
• Construct a 7‑mile two‑lane entrance road with curb, gutter, sidewalks, and median, incorporating HMA paving, base courses, and prime coat.
• Provide utility infrastructure: 8‑in. PVC sanitary sewer, water line, communication conduits, manholes, and a bypass pumping system.
• Install site lighting, gate‑operator systems, chain‑link fencing, access gates, bollards, and permanent traffic‑control signage and pavement markings.
• Perform site grading, earthwork, drainage structures (culverts, rip‑rap, storm‑water management), erosion control, and SWPPP compliance; submit required testing, submittals, and close‑out documentation.
