Sources Sought for Special Vehicle Outfitting

The United States Secret Service (USSS) Technical Security Division (TSD) is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a solution to outfit six special purpose protective equipment delivery vehicles. The vehicles will be used to provide transparent armor to a growing list of agency protectees. The contractor will be responsible for manufacturing and outfitting the vehicles with a flatbed and integrated A-frame, as well as installing emergency lighting and other equipment. The contractor will also be responsible for testing and inspecting the vehicles to ensure they meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). • The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to meet the requirements outlined in the SOW. • The contractor must accommodate visits from the Government to inspect progress, verify compliance with requirements, and review quality assurance processes. • The contractor must provide a clearly defined warranty for all work performed and all products and components delivered in accordance with the SOW. • The warranty shall cover defects in materials and workmanship for both the base vehicles and all upfitted components. • The warranty shall be valid for a minimum of twelve (12) months from the date of Government acceptance.
