CDBG-DR East Taylor Road, DeLand, Pump Station and Water Retention Expansion Design and Engineering

The Volusia County’s Office of Recovery and Resiliency (ORR) is seeking statements of qualifications for the design of flood mitigation improvements on East Taylor Road in DeLand. The project aims to alleviate frequent flooding in the area, which has been exacerbated by recent extreme rainfall events. The proposed improvements include acquiring additional property for stormwater storage capacity and installing a new stormwater pump station and force main to discharge stormwater runoff into Lake Moore.
