Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole source contract to Human Motion Technologies LLC for the purchase of a Prosthetic Device Emulator (BRAVO Lab) system. The system will be used to support clinical prosthetics care and research activities within the VISN 2 BRAVO Laboratory. The contract includes various components such as control and I/O units, breakout modules, host PCs, and graphical user interfaces. The system will allow real-time simulation and evaluation of ankle-foot prosthetic devices prior to definitive prescription and fabrication.
• The contract includes custom development of angle stiffness controllers and rollover shape controllers.
• The contract includes a 1-year essential services contract and a 3-year service extension.
• The system requires compatibility with VA-approved configurations.
• The contract includes installation, training, and site visits.
