Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is seeking information from industry to conduct market research for electron beam welding qualification services. The purpose of this request is to determine potential socio-economic small businesses and large businesses interested in and capable of providing the support services identified. Respondents should provide information on their organization, point of contact, size and type, and a brief statement of interest. They should also describe their capabilities and provide relevant past performance for tasking similar to those outlined in the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• The contractor shall perform EB welding qualification tasks in accordance with the reference 2.4.
• The contractor shall manufacture a minimum of three Nickel Aluminum Bronze (NAB) "SIL" part configurations for welding qualification.
• The contractor shall conduct 100% self-inspection, maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliant quality controls, and ensure all workmanship meets drawing requirements.
• The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and additional materials necessary to perform the tasking in accordance with the references.
