The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Sigonella Naples intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract for the procurement of a Thermo Fisher Scientific QuantStudio 5 real-time PCR system and associated operational consumables. The equipment will support the Naval Medical Research Unit EURAFCENT (NAMRU-EAC) in conducting bio-surveillance. The contract requires the vendor to provide a comprehensive, manufacturer-backed commercial on-site warranty and technical support. • The QuantStudio 5 system must meet the manufacturer's performance specifications for accuracy, reproducibility, and temperature stability. • The system must utilize native protocols that do not require the development of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • The vendor must provide a comprehensive, manufacturer-backed commercial on-site warranty valid for a minimum of twelve months from the date of final Government acceptance. • The warranty service must cover all replacement parts and on-site technical labor required to restore the equipment to full operational status. • The vendor must provide direct access to technical support personnel during standard European business hours to assist NAMRU-EAC scientists with operational inquiries, software integration, and initial equipment diagnostics.
