Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) Qualified Product List (QPL)

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is establishing a Qualified Product List (QPL) for Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT) systems. The QPL is open to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) who can provide AIT systems that meet the requirements outlined in the Functional Requirements Document (FRD) and other related documents. The QPL process involves several steps, including submission of a Vendor Data Package (VDP), Readiness Testing, Certification Testing, and Independent Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E). The TSA will evaluate the AIT systems based on their detection and false alarm rate performance, as well as their ability to meet the requirements outlined in the FRD. • The QPL is open to OEMs who can provide AIT systems that meet the requirements outlined in the FRD. • The QPL process involves several steps, including submission of a VDP, Readiness Testing, Certification Testing, and IOT&E. • The TSA will evaluate the AIT systems based on their detection and false alarm rate performance, as well as their ability to meet the requirements outlined in the FRD. • The QPL is divided into three tracks: Track 0 (dynamic motion system), Track 1 (static motion system), and Track 2 (flexible lane system). • The TSA will provide a Qualification Letter to OEMs whose AIT systems are added to the QPL.
